Hello dear friends! Thank you for this nice plugin!

After the last update of WordPress to version 6.7 all of the images that are contained in uagb have been stretched, due to an aspect ratio issue.

    Thank you in advance.

    Best regards.

Same here on one of my Website’s but it is not on all the images but some of them.
But on the affected ones, i normaly set the size only the width and not the height but now the height will be forced with the wrong aspect ratio.
Normaly the height keeps empty when no input is given but now it is forced filled with the wrong aspect ratio.
I hope this helps the developers.

    Hi @babiskalogirou , @mbitswebcontent ,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.

In WordPress 6.7, they have implemented a feature to set the auto size for all lazy loaded images that is causing the issue: https://make.www.ads-software.com/core/2024/10/18/auto-sizes-for-lazy-loaded-images-in-wordpress-6-7/

There are 2 ways you can fix this issue on your sites:

    1. Disable Lazy Loading:

This is a fairly easy fix – just click on the Spectra image block and disable lazy loading, save and check the front-end.
    2. Set a defined height.
      1. If you want lazy loading on your image, then set a defined height to the Spectra image block.
      2. If you want to get the exact height of your image in the editor, you can inspect the image in Chrome Developer Tools.
      3. Inspect the image, go to Computed, and see the height of the blue box that has the width set by you in the editor. The format is width x height, so the second number will be the desired height.
      4. Set the Spectra image height explicitly based on this image value you’ve just seen, and save the page.

Please try and let me know how it goes.

    Have a nice day!

    Hello @mohsinbsf

    Thank you for your answer.

It is extremely difficult to aplly the setting to each image individually. Especially when talking about several websites…

    Hello @mohsinbsf,

Thanks for the answer, but this is really bad, i cannot go through every image of every page on all the Website’s i have ever build for my self and customers to fix this. It’s sounds like 2years and 3 months ago when the spectra came out and leaves the old system they have made with the ultimate-addons-for-gutenberg, that time was a really disaster. this problem with the images and the given solution feels the same.
I hope not this is really the solution, if it is, then i will move from astra and spectra this time forever.

    Hi @babiskalogirou,@mbitswebcontent,

The dev team has added the task to the tasks list. We will release the updated version with the filter so that you don’t have to do this for individual images.

    Have a nice day!
