Images become relative

While using the editor, if I cut and paste an image (to say… re-order them) I noticed that the path to the image and the link to the file become relative links instead of the absolute links that they start out with.

The relative paths work from the homepage, but do not work from the article itself leading to broken images.

For example after cut and pasting, the source for an image will change from the domain being listed to “../wp-content/uploads/site/2009/09/image.png”
