Please open the page in Safari or some other browser that does not support Webp.

Webp images are being served from my site. But JPEG images are being served from wp.com

    Thats the really weird thing!

Interesting, here’s that first image under Safari 14:

So, you can see that everything is coming from the server except the .jpg.

Please try clearing all caches again, and turn Cloudflare completely off.

    hello,

I cleared all the caches and turned off Cloudflare. Still same problem.

Also, can you please flush this image:
    https://i2.wp.com/spicecravings.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Chicken-Tortilla-Soup-2-683×1024.jpg

I really wish there was a way to flush the Jetpack cache ..

There is some widget of Jetpack that is clearly still on on my website, that is causing the Accelerator to keep caching images. I turned off everything — the only option I have left now is to de-activate Jetpack completely.

Is there some other suggestions you can give me to debug before I try this?

    I’ve cleared those two urls, @aneeshasg .

Can you check the “Featured” banner in your footer widget? It looks like you’re using custom HTML there to specify the image on our servers.

    Thread Starter GMK

    (@aneeshasg)

thanks for pointing out the footer widget issue. i changed that.
But its still loading images from i2.wp.com

Also, looks like the image I sent above is still loading the old image:
    https://i2.wp.com/spicecravings.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/Chicken-Tortilla-Soup-2-683×1024.jpg

I disabled Jetpack plugin and it is still loading images from i2.wp.com. I cleared my WP Rocket cache, Cloudflare cache, multiple times.

Something somewhere is causing images to cache on i2.wp.com

Did you happen to also clear your browser cache on your computer? It can be the case that your browser will show you an outdated view so that should also be emptied.

Because I have not visited this site (until just now) I do not have the site in my cache. Because of this I am able to confirm that images are not being served from the Jetpack CDN (i2.wp.com) but instead from files hosted on the site at URLs like this: https://spicecravings.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/DSC_0022.webp

I recorded a video at this link so you can see what I see when I inspect the source code of your site using the Chrome browser inspector: https://d.pr/v/E6CnLz

Its the JPEGs that are being served from i2.wp.com
Try looking at source code of any page.

    Here is an example view-source:https://spicecravings.com/penne-alla-vodka

pasting this in address bar will work in Chrome or Firefox.

    search for i2.wp.com

    Plugin Support supernovia

    (@supernovia)

OK. Clear the site cache too, if you’ve got that. Rocketcache perhaps?

If that does not work, open up each image from view source. Where is that showing up in the page?

Or, if it’s in non-page stuff like Pineterest markup, do you have a plugin that’s assuming Jetpack? Does its cache need clearing?

    Thread Starter GMK

    (@aneeshasg)

    I cleared the site cache.

Every Jpeg in the page is coming from i2.wp.com

I don’t have any plugins that assume or use Jetpack.

We’re a bit limited in how deeply we can look at your issue here in the public forums. Can you reach out to the Jetpack team here, and reference your thread URL: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/images-being-served-from-i2-wp-accelerator-is-off

We will take a closer look from there, thanks
