Images Blocked

  • Ok so noticed on one of the sites this morning that images weren’t loading and the css wasn’t being applied.
    In fact I couldn’t directly link to images at all.
    Nor could I login into the back end of the site white page single word ‘error’

    Long story short, deactivated ithemes via ftp and renaming. Didn’t change the situation, renamed .htaccess, load a default wordpress .htaccess everything is working again.

    Logged into backend, updated checked everything, re-enabled ithemes, was still in the backend no errors, front page would load with css but no images.
    renamed .htaccess again all working.

    Any suggestions ?
