what steps or procedure did you follow to “migrate” your database and files (plugins, theme, uploads)?
are the images suddenly “broken” or have the images been broken since the “migration” was done?
images are stored in the WP-Content directory in the Uploads directory. the WP-Content folder is availabe in your webhosting account file manager area. check to see if your images are stored properly.

more details about each image are in the DATABASE in the POSTS table. images are an Attachment post type. the Database is stored in your webhosting account – usually in an area labeled PHPMYADMIN.
do you have access to the WordPress.com site to try the “migration” again? I don’t know if you had a WordPress.com plan that allowed for installing plugins, but if you can install a plugin named All-In-one-Migration you could try the process again.
