    Hi everyone,
My site has massively malfunctioned the last week or so.

No images are displaying, I cannot upload new images, the theme seems to not load at all.

So far I have tried the following:
Reinstalling wordpress, changing permissions, different themes, deactivating plugins, healthcheck and deleting cache

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am completely stumped. as a side note I did get a new ISP around the time the problems started

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hey, thanks for coming back so quick.
I do think this is a little above my knowledge. Where would I find .htaccess to rename?
All plugins have been disabled. Do I need to do anything else to disable cache?
Sorry for being so basic, this is all new to me
    Thanks for your help

1)back-up your site and database https://codex.www.ads-software.com/WordPress_Backups
    2)Enable hidden file https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/changing-file-permissions/#unhide-the-hidden-files
in some hosts it may even be that it includes cache and a cached CDN service, you need to ask your host for more information

    hey,
Think the issue is making it hard to create a backup. I have tried two plugins and both seem to get ‘stuck’. Wondering if this is a vicious circle that is due to the theme error. From what I have read it seems to be a javascript issue, that is according to the back up plug ins info.

I think I have uncovered hidden files as I can see a .ftpquota file in the ftp.

I am pretty certain my host is not providing any cache service.

please we need to find the right tuning … read the link on the backup … Filezilla for your files and phpmyadmin for the database.

    Ok, thank you.
I have created a back up now.
I have managed to get filezilla setup.

I dont understand how to install phpmyadmin. I can download the files from the site but there is no set up app or anything? I have not worked that bit out. Do you have any advice about how I get it working

Contact your host for information on how to interact with the database … cpanel or other.

Thank you, I have messaged them asking for help accessing cpanel
Honestly you are so kind to be helping it is much appreciated

https://codex.www.ads-software.com/WordPress_Backups#Database_Backup_Instructions here is instructions on how to backup the database on different software: Plesk, cpanel, phpmyadmin click the one your host uses. When you have backups of files and databases, don’t hesitate to write.
