• Hi all,

    My site: myfunfoodiary.com
    Current theme: Nexus theme
    Wordpress version: 4.7

    My site finally is back to normal, after I manually update to WordPress 4.7 this afternoon.

    The only problem is now, all the images do not appear as it should be, although all the image files are available in the /wp-content/uploads folder on my FTP server.

    Can somebody tell me how to fix this?

    Thank you.

    The images are giving a 403 Forbidden response code. You have some sort of permission issue.

    Does the same thing occur if you temporarily disable all plugins?

    Hi @j09 I’ve tried to disable all plugins, but then it shows error message to my site.

    The permission code to all folders is set to 755, especially for these folders in /public_html/ :
    – /wp-admin
    – /wp-content
    – /wp-includes

    @michan7

    What kind of error are you getting?

    Also, the folders might have 755 set but it’s worth checking the sub-folders just in case.

    See this for more detailed information about the issue: WordPress 403 Errors

    Thank you @j09 problem solved now.

    I’ve changed the file permission to all folders in /wp-content/uploads including all the sub folders where all my images stored, to 755 permissions. While all images inside are already set to 644 permission, no changes at all.

    And all images appears on my web the way I want it. ??

    @michan7

    Great!

    I checked your page again and there are no more 403 errors.

    There are however some images that are giving 404 codes – File not found
