Images can be uploaded, but not accessed

Hello,

I’m using the latest free version of the plugin, v3.4.3. I can upload various types of files, images too, but only with images there is a problem accessing the image through their URL. For example, https://www.example.com/download/Badge.png gives 404 error page, like the image file is not uploaded at all, although the image is correctly uploaded to the filebase folder and can be accessed through its absolute URL, like https://www.example.com/wp-content/uploads/filebase/Badge.png

I must note that the page is served through nginx, according to the 404 page.

Anyone else having same or similar issue using this really good plugin?
