images cause posts and pages to be un-updatable

    This is a problem that I just recently started having with wordpress. Until now I have not noticed this, but I have not been posting all too often so I do not know when, why, or how this is happening. If anyone could shed any light on this I would be grateful.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    Just tried re-installing WordPress from the updates menu, and that didn’t work either.

    UPDATE: Can’t change permalinks either.

    I don’t know what’s going on but make a backup of your database and everything else if you already haven’t. Maybe your database has been corrupted.
