Images disappear on Mobile

I am having difficulty with images disappearing in mobile browsers. They are not set to be hidden on tablets or mobile devices. When the pages load, the captions are visible and there is a blank space where the image should be. Any ideas on how to fix this? I can’t link you to the problem, because the site is not live yet.I have tried resizing images, setting them to full-width, etc… Nothing seems to work. The images display in Elementor’s mobile and tablet view, but disappear when opened on an actual mobile device. This only happens when I open the stories themselves. The images appear in thumbnails and on the homepage. Just not in the image blocks in stories. Any help would be appreciated.
