I have Meta Slider Main Options set to display as width: 635px and height: 480px. Meta Slider seems to ignore these settings. Images where the image size is 360Wx480H display as 645Wx846H, overwriting the post below the slider. How do I regulate the image display sizes?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @truebiz

Thanks for using MetaSlider. I don’t see the slideshow on the link you shared, so it’s hard to give specific feedback.

However, under “Advanced Options” look for “Image Crop” and try changing that option. MetaSlider uses that feature to try and create a standard appearance for your images.

Thanks for your reply. The image in the 1st post on the Home page is part of a Meta-Slider slideshow. Two of the images display properly. The other 3 images expand beyond the preset height and width of the slider settings. Images that have an image size of 360 x480 are displayed much larger. As stated previously, the plugin seems to be ignoring the slideshow settings for height and width of the slider. Cropping doesn’t seem to work. I set cropping for bottom center and it did nothing.

Thanks @truebiz. I’ve tested this out, creating 360×480 images for this purpose. The only way I can get the effect you describe is to set “Image Crop” to “Disabled”.

    Thanks for the timely response.

I had set “Image Crop” to “Disabled”. I enabled it and the slides stopped overwriting the post below. I also set each image crop to Top Center. Now the slides display is acceptable. I’m still not sure why Meta Slider enlarges the images way larger than their actual size, but the client is now happy with the page.

    Thanks again!

P.S. I’m investigating to see if the Display Posts plugin is affecting Meta Slider as I didn’t see the issue on my dev site, which doesn’t use the Display Posts plugin.
