    Hi Anders,
can’t understand why images are shown in resized format: 619px on front page and 963px on sub pages. Back in admin I select Default size, 1200px but they are still shown resized. What I’m doing wrong?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @pinkavocado,

If you’re using the Block Editor, you can choose which image size to use in the image block in the block settings, on the right side of the screen when you have the block selected. If you select the “Full” image size, the images will be displayed in the image size you uploaded them in.

    Hey,

I choose img Full size in block settings, it’s 1200px and it shows that size in editor, but it still displays 963px in the frontend.

Printscreen of block settings Full size selected – https://tasfotografas.lt/stuff/fullsize.jpg and front end – https://ohmyadas.com/index.php/quarantine-portraits/

@pinkavocado The actual width and height of the image on the screen is constrained by the width of the post content container, which is 963 pixels. The image used is 1200 pixels wide, due to the “Full Size” option being selected, but since the post content container is 963 pixels wide, the display size of the image is scaled down to that width.

In other words, the display width of the image is constrained by the width of the post content container.

    Thanks for the answer!

Container size is set to 100? – https://tasfotografas.lt/stuff/container.jpg

I’ve tried changing it to 1200px but nothing changes in the front end ?? Are those 963px set somewhere in the theme settings?

@pinkavocado The 963 pixels are set in the theme stylesheet, as the width of the content area itself. It’s possible to change it with custom CSS, but it’s a pretty difficult thing to change since you would need to update the alignment classes (for wide/full/left/right blocks) to account for the new content width as well.
