  • I’m using this plugin as well and have the same problem. Sometimes when the browser is resized, the ratio aspect of the images changes so the images become a little distorted. I realized that this issue only occurs for me if the image is wider than it is tall; if the image is a square or if it is taller than it is wide, the aspect ratio is maintained when the browser is resized. Is there anyway to fix this, maybe some code I could add, so that I can use landscape images in the slider? Or is there a solution for this in the premium version of this plugin?

I would provide a link for the site I’m working on, but it is not live yet. Let me know if anything in unclear or if you need more info.

    Hi kbishop,

I made my post almost 2 months ago and no response. But I really didn’t think I would get one because this distorted image bug shows up on their own how-to page!!
https://goo.gl/9JOzG I also posted the issue on this page.

So, I was also interested in knowing why/how this guy https://www.ultimissimo.net/ was able to get the plugin to work correctly when the authors couldn’t do it, HA!!

Have you tried WP Supersized? https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-supersized/ Great free plugin, has always worked for me.

    HI

We have sorted out this issue and will be updating the plugin pretty soon

    thanks for letting us know.

Fantastic!!! Looking forward to this update. This simple plugin is gonna rock!

Hi, I bought the plugin thinking you might have fixed the distortion issue by now – but it’s not fixed on the one I downloaded. Can you send me a fix, it might be possible in the css editor? Thanks!

Hey b4mmy, it seems this author is really not interested in updating the free or paid version of this plugin. I noticed their themes do not have this problem of distorting images.

Until they update the background of this plugin’s marketing page you can expect it will not be updated in either plugin versions. But maybe, if you contact them directly, you might get some kinda fix.

Until then, try these, they work great and are free:

Good luck, glad you posted! I’d love to see this author make the updates.
