Images don’t appear (at first)

  • Hello.

    I am using the theme Astrid.

    In the customization menu, I have selected a header image to be displayed as part of the large header for the front page.

    The header image (and perhaps other images) do not appear whenever I first open the website in a new incognito tab, although I have run into no problems with the media loading in with the WordPress editor.

    If I refresh the page in incognito, it will show the image, but it will never display the site correctly with a new incognito tab, (cache problem I think?) meaning that whenever someone comes to the website for the very first time, all the formatting will be off.

    I feel like there is a simple fix to this? But I can’t figure it out. Anything helps, thanks.

    I think this image size is too big, Please optimize this image then try it

    To add to what Rajan V said,
    the server is returning a lot of 503 Service Unavailable results. Your server may be overloaded and you may have to change hosts. Here is a screenshot from Chrome.

    Try to make fewer requests and optimizing stuff on your site.
