Loading a Draw Attention image on my blog – this page – and it’s requesting a 2×1 image. Even if I resize the image using the console, the highlighted zones appear in the wrong place (below and to the right). It seems like the problem is something to do with your responsive sizing – perhaps you’re expecting a <main> tag, which not all themes use. This plugin seems like it would be really useful, but at this stage, it’s un-usable for me.

Hello! Sorry that you’re having troubles. Can you send over a link to the page where it’s not working so we can take a look?

We’re not really depending on any certain markup in the themes, but there might be some CSS or something that’s interfering.

Oops, I’m sorry. I completely missed that you included the link. We’re looking into it, and we’ll be back with you shortly.

Hi there! It looks like that image is being served up from wp.com – are you using Jetpack Photon for hosting your images? It’s possible that there’s a conflict there that we need to work out.

If you’re using that, could you please try temporarily disabling it to see if Draw Attention works? And then let us know? If that doesn’t do it, please send an admin login for your site to [email protected] and we’ll look into it further and get it resolved.

Disabling Photon makes it display properly, but of course I’d prefer to be able to use Photon with this plugin. I’ll mark this as resolved, but I’d love to see an update to address compatibility.

We’ll definitely look into this and see if it’s a conflict that we can resolve. This is the first report we’ve gotten of the incompatibility, so we didn’t realize it was there.

I’m just following up to let you know that we’ve fixed compatibility with Jetpack Photon in our latest release (1.4) Thanks for letting us know about this issue!

Hello, after you you’d the image you need to click Publish. Then if you scroll down to the bottom of the admin screen you will see the sections to define your clickable areas. Hope that helps!
