    Hey Allen – everyone!

It’s unfortunate that I can’t just search the support forum for your plugin Allen…but after going through more than several topics related to “images” I couldn’t find this particular answer.

I’m using many feeds and most have an image associated with it. When you click on the “read more” the image will be there but it does not appear on the front page.

Also, this may be by design – and I’m not complaining, just curious – it seems, on the front page, that only the first two posts show more than one line of text. I had selected:
    give me everything
HTML and IMage handling: process normally and “excerpt and featured”
Excerpt Handling: Put the contents in the excerpts field is checked

I’ve changed “give me everything” to 500 – but not sure if that makes a difference on what is showing on the front page. Hmm…just thinking – is that a WP setting?

Here is one of my sites:

    Thank you!

If you choose Give Me Everything, like it says here:

    https://www.screencast.com/t/NyF3lQdQr

it will not show up as a featured image, etc, just a pure dump of the html in the RSS feed contents tag.

If you are putting these into posts, then it’s up to the WP theme (the theme settings decide what goes where on the home page), while my plugin does nothing but make the basic blog posts.

    I trust this makes sense.

Anyway, what I would do is:

    1) choose anything but “Give Me Everything”
    2) choose make images into featured images (assuming your theme accepts featured images)
    3) use your theme settings from that point on to decide how the home page works.

Perfect sense – and will do.

    Thank you Allen!

great…also if the plugin is working for you, if you haven’t had a chance, take a second and rate the plugin by going to

It helps other people know whether they should try it or not.

    Hi,

I’ve tried everything with different 4 themes, but no success. There’s unfortunately no any image..

    (@amweiss98)

Are you positive there are images in the RSS feed?

how positive? No, there aren’t images in the RSS feed.

    Plugin Author Allen

    (@amweiss98)

ok..well, if there are no images in the feed, then there will be no images…but you can use default category images in the plugin if you want.

Thanks for your answer. Ok. well, I just want it little bit more detailed, that’s why I have a question. Not as category basis, I want to add RSS-URL basis image. Is it possible?

    Plugin Author Allen

    (@amweiss98)

What does RSS URL basis mean?

for every rss feed different image. Not for category.

    Plugin Author Allen

    (@amweiss98)

ok..well, currently that’s not possible with my plugin unless you assign every feed to a different plugin category (note, the plugin category is different than your blog categories)

I uploaded and set up a default category image with its url,

than I adjusted the “HTML and Image Handling” settings like this:

Check to get rid of all html and images in the excerpt: “Tried both Yes/No”

Eliminate all hyperlinks : “Tried both Box-Checked/Unchecked”

Maximum width size of images : “150px”

Default category image setting : “Use default image for category”

Select how to use the image : Featured image only”

Is there any other settings that I’m supposed to do? Because I don’t see any default category image on the posts..

    Plugin Author Allen

    (@amweiss98)

did you put a full url to the default image in the category tab (there is a place for a url to the image for each category you created)

Yes, I did. And controlled everything carefully triple time.

    Any suggestion?

By the way, what for is this option? “Put the contents also in the excerpts field”

the excerpt field is a field in the database which some themes use for the content of the post on the home page.

the only thing I can think of is to give me temp access to your site so I can see for myself what is going on…you can do this by contacting me at
