  • I’ve been going through the same thing and it ended up being the minify settings.

Rather than auto, I had to set it to manual and from there, work out which ones were causing problems. I ended up having to omit css and js for Simple Social Icons (as well as a few other things) and everything works fine.

Hopefully that can help you too?

…just in case it will help….

If you go to the minify option (from the main menu on the left) and click on HELP button at the top, it will give you a list of all js and css being loaded and from there you can manually select which items are to be minified.

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply HeyBlondie! I gave that a try but didn’t make a difference. In this case it looks like it’s the CDN that causing the issues. I turned the CDN off in W3 and the icons appear fine. So will play around with those settings for a bit and see if I can work it out.

An update for anyone else that has this issue, I have managed to sort it out by going into the CDN section of W3 Total Cache and adding the following to the Rejected Files section:
    wp-content/plugins/simple-social-icons/

Then I cleared the cache and it seems to work fine
