• This is how the gallery is supposed to look:
    https://site4.jennmearswebdesign.com/vacations/yachts/

It looks great on the test site. It was working fine on the live site, but I was having major page load time issues so the hosting administrator says they moved the site over to a new server today.

Now, all my live site’s galleries look like this:
    https://carolkent.com/carol-kent/our-yachts/

Both sites are running WP 3.9.1 and NextGen Gallery + GalleryView latest.

Both have the same settings. But on the live site, it looks as if the main window is only showing the thumbnail and not the full sized image and that’s why it looks so fuzzed out.

I refreshed the cache, uploaded the images to a new gallery and at first it looks ok and when I went back to the page, it had gone back to the distorted images again.

The only thing I can think of is a server issue since this only happened after the live site was moved to a different server

To add to the fun, the images look fine the first time I view the gallery, but if I return to the page, they are completely blown up again.

@jennsweb – Aside from the issues you are noting with NextGEN Gallery, there seems to be some sort of theme related issue going on as well …

… I’m not very familiar with the Gallery View third-party extension for NextGEN Gallery but it appears to be up-to-date. Have you ensured it is compatible in your current installation as well?

    Hi Cais,
As far as theme issues go, it could very well be. The project aim is to replace the current theme on the live site but trying to test as much as we can before switching to eliminate too much down time.

It was working great in both test and live sites (and with the live site’s current theme) until the live site got moved to a different server by the host. Long story short, budget doesn’t allow for too much futzing so I am going to recommend that the client get the NextGen Plus upgrade.
    thanks for replying though!

@jennsweb – Although we would be happy to have the client become a NextGEN Plus subscriber it may not sort out the issue itself.

It may be better to start by submitting a Bug Report () with the site specifics so we can have a closer look at the site. We will likely need log in (and FTP) credentials for the WordPress site, those can be included in the Bug Report.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
