Images get deleted

I noticed an issue today which appears to have something to do with the [caption] shortcode. As such, it’s probably not specific to the Classic Editor, but since the plugin writes the [caption] shortcode when adding media, you may be able to fix it in a future update.

The problem arrises when you add an image with a caption, and the caption contains a link. If you delete a single character in the link text (in the visual editor), the entire image will disappear, caption and all.

I tested it with all plugins turned off and it still affects previously added images as long as they use the [caption] shortcode and have a link in the caption.
