Possibly the urls used to retrieve PhotoBucket cannot load over SSL, causing the images to break. If that is the case I’d contact PhotoBucket support to see if they have a solution for this.

Same issue also, the wheel in the media library is just spinning, when I try to update I get error

Do you also use photobucket? Can you load your images directly over https in your browser? If this in your browser works:
https://domain.com/wp-content/uploads/image.jpg

But this not:
https://domain.com/wp-content/uploads/image.jpg
