Images hosted on sub-domain

Thumbnails are uploaded directly, not using the WordPress? How could the plugin possibly work, then? ??

You need to have the retina images generated, it’s the first step.

is there any work around to load the retina images? The blog is quite old, he’s been using the the custom field for thumbnails from the beginning.

But the images you uploaded are the “original” images, and directly used on the blog, right?

You haven’t any bigger images for those, so how could it be Retina? The plugin cannot create higher-resolution images than the ones you already have… (I hope I understood your issue correctly though)

Yes. I have manually uploaded the retina version of the images too in the sub-domain with a @2x in the end, still shows the non-retina.

Mmm, sorry for the late reply. I have troubles with your website. I get a lot of JavaScript warnings and errors, and also it’s not clear why in your post the referenced images already contain “@2x”…

I think you did it manually but it shouldn’t be done that way. If you really want me to help you, contact me through Totoro Times, give me a user/password to access your website and I’ll see what I can do, but you can probably figure out by yourself as well.
