    Hello,

I use your plugin for listing feeds with images. I have two problems with that.

    1. Often pages in my feed list have no https. And because if this, my HTTP-Page shows https-warnings. Any chance that this plugin temporarily copy the images to the own WP installation when post show up in the list with images? And then use the own image link from own wp-image source?

    2. Often pages in my feed list have bigger images as in my feed list. So Google PageSpeed Insight spend some warning because size and compressing is not matched. Any chance to resize the images correctly when temporarily copy it and compress it correctly?

    Best regards
    Manni

    Hey,

    1. We use the urls as we receive from the feed, so if the urls are with https we display them with https and the same case with http. For the moment we dont have an importing mechanism for the images, but we are working to integrate it in the future.

    2. The same thing here, we are using the images from the feed as they are, with no modifications over them. We are actively working to integrate such mechanism in the future.

    Thanks !

That would be nice. Yes, I know thatyour are showing the HTTP(S) links in the same way the source blog feed is listing it, but exactly that is the problem.
It’s not only problem for https warnings, it’s also a problem when the source blog is slow in webspeed. I think a temporarily import/copying the image and then using the image link from the own local WP installation would be nice!
Temporarily image using should be as intelligent, to copy the image and use it as long as a post is shown the image in a feed, but delete it when it’s not shown in a feed list any more.

The same thing here, we are using the images from the feed as they are, with no modifications over them. We are actively working to integrate such mechanism in the future.

Ok. perfect. Then remember to integrate a simple image resize (scaling) mechanism when importing/copying the image from the feed source. Resize with “compress” would be perfect, but I think to implement image compressing in your plugin would be hard. But a simple resize (scaling) would fit.

    Thanks a lot′!!!
