Images | Image Media fields very buggy

  • I used to love this plugin (which is why I’m giving it *two* stars instead of one.) All of a sudden, however, it’s broken and the plugin authors aren’t very responsive with support requests. Neither the “Image” field nor the “Image Media” field work properly. I’m using version 2.3.1 of the plugin with WordPress 4.2. I wasted an entire day trying to figure out how to correct the problem, to no avail. I’m switching to Advanced Custom Fields. More user friendly, easier template tags, plus, all the help documentation is in a single language.

  • “the plugin authors aren’t very responsive with support requests” – Although, I am not the author of this plugin or connected in any way to the authors of this plugin I do try to support it. I admit I have a selfish reason for doing so as this plugin is a prerequisite to my plugin. Consequently, I really understand how this plugin works and can sometimes solve problems with this plugin. Since, both the “Image” and “Image Media” field works for me using version 2.3.1 of this plugin and WordPress 4.2 I believe there is a good probability that I could solve your problem, if you had given me more time. I think because of time zone differences I would not see your support request until after you had left for the day.

    Hi, im developer of MF, unfortunately I do not have much time for MF, the most of my time is for work in iOS development. but whenever someone reports me (email or twitter) some problem with MF, I make time to repair. about image field, what type of problem have? do you have more plugins installed?
