Images in Gridsby home-page linking to Standard format posts?

    Hello,

    Using Gridsby, I would like for my home page to have the grid of featured images but, when an image in the grid is clicked on, I would like the post to display in the format of a ‘Standard’ (as opposed to ‘Image’) post, so that images set within the text of that Post can then be viewed full-screen using Lightbox.

    Is that possible?

    I don’t mind making two versions of each post if necessary, one for the featured image to appear in the home-page grid, and one to display when the home-page image is clicked, although I’d rather only have to make each post once.

    Is there a way of making Gridsby display the featured images of Standard posts in the home-page grid?

    Hello,

    You can navigate to Appearance > Customize > Photo Post Method and select “Animated Lightbox” rather than “Direct Link to Post.”
