• Hi There,

I ran the import (current version) and all seem’d well, but then as I reviewed the imported posts, I noticed some images from the posts are missing. If I go into the HTML for the imported posts I noticed that post images are pointing to my wordpress site, but the larger image that comes up when you click on the post image still points to blogger.

I tried deleting all the posts, and re-do with the “Convert Formatting” unchecked, but I can’t remove the check?

So, seems I have 3 issues I am assuming they are related…

    1) What seems like ramdom missing post images.
    2) Larger images still pointing blogger
    3) Can’t removed “Covert Formatting” checkmark

I am going to run the import again and see what happens, but looking for any guidance available ??

…ok tried again after deleting all posts, and it goes through the motions, says it’s done without importing anything ??

So I have an update in the event it might help others. I reset my wordpress DB and nuked all the posts. I was able to re-run the import and deselected “Covert Formatting”. It ran without issue, but again, some posts were missing the image.

The situation, if an image has a % in its name, then the image will not show up in the post, even though I can verify that the post is pointing to the right image, and the image was downloaded properly.

The fix? I am opening each post that has a missing image, and then using cuteFTP, I go to the content\upload folder and rename said image file (ie remove %, replace with _). I cut that new name into the post and save, and all is well.

As for the post images liking back to blogger, I am just using the post editor to remove the hyperlink since I use large images in my posts.

Hope that helps ?? If there is a better fix, I am all ears, as I have some 1400 posts to go through ??

    Thanks for the update.

I am encountering this same problem too. Is this bug being addressed? Any images with a ‘%’ in their name do not correctly import.
