Images in posts don’t appear

that directory gets a 404 ..

Yes, this directory doesn’t exist anymore, but recent posts have different pictures included. I didn’t change that directory as long as the newer ones didn’t show up.

The tag for the image at the end of “Skimboards on the way!” is:

And, as Podz said, /pics/ doesn’t exist. That’s why the image isn’t showing up.

The directory /pics exists and contains skim.gif. Could it be a problem with the hosting service? Should I change the attributes of the directory (now is 744)? The images don’t appear even if I link to them: the second post contains the link <img src=”https://img176.echo.cx/img176/836/ciucas1jd.th.jpg&#8221; border=0 align=left hspace=10 />

https://masariu.xhost.ro/pics/ generates an error 404 Not Found. So, as far as HTTP is concerned, /pics/ doesn’t exist. You’ll have to contact your hosting provider.

On a limb, you could try changing the directory’s permissions to 755 (CHMOD 755), but I doubt that it will do anything,
