Images keep going missing

  • It sounds like you moved your Website to a new hosting account. If that is the case, try using the ADD FROM SERVER plugin to rebuild your media library. You may have to change some image links in your posts if the FTP directory is different from the old hosting account.

    If you did NOT move to a new hosting account, can you please explain what you have changed recently? Anything may be significant.

    I have this issue that the images are in my posts and they are not in the media library.

    When I click on the image to get the name so I can do a search to find it (I want to set all my featured images) there is no name to the image (weird). All that data is gone.

    I did not change hosting accounts.

    Lots of images are missing.

    Some not on the server either, but there in the blog? How can that be?

    I recently exported many posts to import into another WordPress blog. Would that have deleted images out of the media library?
