• Hi, thumbnails were working fine previously but today, some images are not included in the rendered thumbnail. I’ve tried renaming the file completely to see if there was a cache reproducing the image from a previous PDF but the issue still persists. The PDF homepage has a header and footer with an image in the middle of the page. The header and footer are being rendered in the thumbnail but the image in the middle is not. Any ideas please?

Hi, same issue is happening on our end. The rendering of image inside the pdf was working fine last week. But today, when uploading a pdf that has an image inside, it doesn’t show when the thumbnail was created. Only pure text and background color were rendered.

I have not changed the functionality for generating PDFs lately, so I suspect it may be a WordPress-update, or system update that’s causing this behavior. I will look into the issue in my test environment.

Can you post your version of WordPress and ImageMagick here? Also, your web host provider, in case there is some correlation.

    Hi stianlik,

    Wordpress: 4.6.1

    ImageMagick:
    imagick module version 3.3.0RC2
Imagick compiled with ImageMagick version ImageMagick 6.7.9-10 2013-08-29 Q16
Imagick using ImageMagick library version ImageMagick 6.7.9-10 2013-08-29 Q16

Thank you for the information. I tested the plugin on my test environment, with a random PDF, including images, but I was not able to reproduce the error. On my system, the images are rendered. I tested using the following versions:

    WordPress 4.6.1
    imagick module version 3.1.2
    ImageMagick 6.7.7-10 2014-03-06 Q16 https://www.imagemagick.org

I see that you have a more recent version if ImageMagick. I will try to update ImageMagick library to see if I am able to reproduce the error.
