Images no longer appear after update.

Taking a look at the site I’m getting a few 403 errors on the images; this is generally a security measure that means a person does not have access to view it.

Nope. I deactivated all plugins and that still didn’t help.

I have same problem like this , what the solutions?

When I inspect Womansreflection.com and check the console I see 403 (permission) errors on wp-content/uploads/…yourimages. Something changed those permissions

What I was thinking as well. If you don’t know, you can reach out to your hosting company about that.

Thinking… how might an update change directory permissions? Do you have any security plugins? If so, please disable them temporarily and see if that fixes anything.

when i try to create new Posting . and I try to upload some picture with “add Media” but the picture is still not appear . I have no install security plugins

Check with your hosting company’s tech support; something’s changed your directory permissions.

I will check soon as I get back to my computer. Can you tell me what they should be set at?

directories probably 775, files 664, but check with your hosting company.

I’m getting 403 Forbidden on all the .JPG and .PNG images in the /uploads/ directory. It’s like some kind of overzealous hot-link protection. (When I view Womansreflection.com that is. My own blog is fine)

So i corrected my permissions. But i can not upload any pictures. I get http errors when i do

I do see the images now. This could be related to whatever you did in this thread https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/http-error-when-uploading-images-17/page/3?replies=76 to fix it before. Perhaps you need to redo or undo whatever that change was then.

That worked!! I forgot all about that. And i recently changed my theme which explains it starting again. Thank you so much!
