  • I can browse your directories easily enough…

    //kalamazoo.sogie.net/wp-content/themes/

    The path to this image;

    //kalamazoo.sogie.net/wp-content/uploads/kzoopride.jpg

    returns a 404. Checking for the containing directory, “uploads”, also 404’s

    //kalamazoo.sogie.net/wp-content/uploads/

    “The requested URL /wp-content/uploads/ was not found on this server.”

    I don’t think it’s a permissions issue, because I can see every image in your theme.

    //kalamazoo.sogie.net/wp-content/themes/softpresence/images/

    Did you get a warning that wordpress could not create the “uploads” folder (is the parent directory writable) when you tried to upload images?

    No upload folder? Just a guess, mind you.

    the images are uploading to //kalamazoo.sogie.net/wp-content/

    You would think so, wouldn’t you? But is there actually an uploads folder there? Can you see it via ftp?

    Might be something helpful here…

    Its not there, even by ftp.

    I tried permissions at 777 and 755 across the board, i get no errors.

    anyone else have any ideas, if i cant figure this out, i think i will just start over.

    You could try this…

    Hop back into your ftp client, create the directory manually, assign it permissions of 755, and confirm that your upload path in your dashboard settings is what you want it to be, then try uploading an image from WordPress and see if lands where it is supposed to.

    Or read some of the suggestions/solutions possibly found in the link I posted above.

    oops..

    fixed it!

    Went to Settings >>> Miscellaneous Settings >>> Store uploads in this folder>>>

    was “wp-content”, made it blank, it now works…

    Thanks!
