images not appearing in IE

I can see that on your screenshot but that could be anything. The plugin use the PictureFill polyfill script, they have a GitHub here: https://github.com/scottjehl/picturefill/issues

If you have a problem like this, you should probably ask them. But also, you should share your URL with us here otherwise we can’t really tell what’s wrong or not. But if it works on Chrome and Firefox but not on IE, then you should really check their GitHub. I believe it should work for any IE >= 8.

When I load picturefill.js on my own I think it works without problems. The problem is my 2x images dont get loaded automatically. I need your plugin!

Also it should be noted that my front page, where the problem is, is not being loaded via the_content(). those images are embeded in front-page.php where I made it.

Maybe that is because of the version I am using of PictureFill?

You know there is an option in the Retina plugin to avoid loading the PictureFill plugin? So basically you can keep the PictureFill method but check the “No Picturefill Script” option. Then you can manually load your script.

Try that ?? If it works then it means the script i am using is not working for you. I am using the most recent one though I think but not the very last beta version.

i still see a flash of nothing for a few seconds sometimes. then it loads.

You are really using the last version ?? I am still using 2.0 in PictureFill. Maybe you could ask the guys who made the PictureFill polyfill on Github? They would know.
