• Here is my site. https://cartoonity.thefixedstars.com

The problem is that my site isn’t displaying any images(I’m using WP 2.0). Here are some of the places where the images aren’t loading:

    1)Header image of index page
2)Theme specific images in index page
    3)Header image of WP log-in
    4)Theme Preview boxes in Presentation/Themes

I did not uncheck “load images” in Firefox(1.5).
I am not using the AdBlock Extension.

    Some advice is appreciated. Thanks!

  • Same problem with my 2.0 version. Any solutions?

If I right click and view image for your header, I get:

“You don’t have permission to access /wp-content/themes/coffee_cup/images/coffeehead.jpg on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.”

There are a few threads with these problems ocurring I think, maybe they can help! Sorry I’m of no more use :oS

Thanks I tried that, but haven’t resolve the issue yet. I’ve reinstalled 2.0 from scratch three times now. I am hosting my domain name https://www.bibledoctrinelinks.org as a second domain on my account at Lunarpages. I am redirecting the domain to a folder on my regular web, https://www.dartscape.com. Would this have anything to do with the images not showing up?

    Thanks,

I fixed it! For me, I was using an add on domain. I had registered bibledoctrinelinks.org but was adding it to my server at dartscape.com….running two websites off of the same account. The fix is to go to your web hosting CPanel and the Hotlinks Protection section, and then add the add-on domain to the “Urls to Allow Access”. Once I did that, the images showed up in the headers, in the admin area, etc.
Bluey – I hope this solves your problem too.
