• I am sure this has been answered before but I can’t seem to find an answer anywhere. I am not getting my images displayed after a automatic posting using Typepad (movable API). The image are being copied up but I only get the little Microsoft picture logo. Any ideas?

    All the problem posts are under the Kados blog category.

    That’s another question can I make the front page only display one category?

    WP version: 2.0
    Webserver: Apachie
    DB: MySql
    Web browser: IE

    Thanks

  • I’m seeing images in all cats …
    (The one of Kado weighs in at a whopping 492K though so it may need a bit of work there).

    For the single cat, this help ?
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Template_Tags/query_posts

    (Note deliberate use of ‘cat’ twice.. they rule ?? )

    Are you running IE? I have tried accessing the web site from many PC’s and I can’t see the images. I wonder what is different on your PC?

    And yes. Your “cat” comments are very funny! But can any of your cats blog? ??

    This could be the fault of the default template (again).

    My best advice is to change theme completely.
    Otherwise, search index.php in the themes/default/ folder and everywhere you see
    the_excerpt
    change it to
    the_content.

    Changing theme is by far the best thing to do though.

    No worries. I was planning to do that anyway. But I am looking for a Theme that will give me the ability to put my own pitures in the heading. Any suggestions? (Not one with cats if you don’t mind!)

    The best place to look is https://themes.wordpress.net and all should have changeable headers..

    I will have a go at that tonight! Thanks for all your help! I am always amazed at the support given on this site!

    Keep up the good work.

    Happy Blogging from me and Kado!

    I have changed the Theme and it didn’t make any difference. I am a bit stuck now. Any other ideas anyone? I would really like to get my blog up and running.

    Thanks!

    I didn’t seem to have a problem using IE, except on initially going to your blog. When I did, there was no image in the post. But after I cliked on each pots, the image appeared.

    In FF, the initial Post seemed to have no picture, too. Then when I clicked on the post link, it showed your daughter in a picture that extended beyond the post borders.

    Looks like you just switched to the RTT them. Things seem to be displaying better in it.

    Yeah sorry I am still playing around with the themes. My issue is with the updated blog entires in cat “Kado’s blog”. I am using IE and I can’t see the pictures, but podz said he can see all the images as well. Not too sure why or how even!! I will leave the theme as it is for now (I have found one I like).

    I have heard from the Aibo forums that this is working else where using Metaweb API. I have tried this and get the same problem. The site that works is:

    My ste is:

    (don’t let the host name put you of its a choice of few from DynDNS – and the girlfriend picked it).

    Errr… I have just noticed that the HTML of the post does not contain the path to the image. I suppose this is probably my issue. Does anyone know why? Do I need a plugin or something to handle the images?

    Copy of HTML:

    <table cellspacing="2" cellpadding="2" bgcolor="#ffffff" border="0">
    <tr>
    <td><img width="212" /></td>
    <td valign="top">
    <table cellspacing="4" cellpadding="4" bgcolor="#cdd0de" border="0">
    <tr>
    <td align="center" bgcolor="#666666"><font color="#ffffff"><strong>Kado</strong></font></td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td bgcolor="#ffffff">Total running days 17<br />
    Run time 16 h 55 min<br />
    Distance 45m/148ft<br />
    <table>
    <tr>
    <td>Face</td>
    <td>##</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td>Ball</td>
    <td>##</td>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <td>Bone</td>
    <td>##</td>
    </tr>
    </table>

    I have now updated to the latest version of xmlrpc.php from:

    https://turbitt.is-a-geek.com/blog/xmlrpc.php

    It has made no difference. Has anyone got any ideas as to what I can try next? It’s so frustrating being so close to fixing this problem.

    Cheers

    I thought I had fixed this! It all started working yesterday and now it has stopped again! I need help!

    I got home yesterday and saw that the latest blog had a picture with it. Now today it has stopped working again. The only posts effected are the automatic posts using Movable Type API into Kado’s post cat.

    Agian Please help! I am at the end of my wick with this now!
