Images not displaying after uploading

  • WordPress version: 4.4.2
    Plugin version: 1.7.5

    I expected the plugin to do this: Display thumbnails and catalogue pictures that I upload

    Instead it did this: Not displaying images

    Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Deactivated all other plugins, reverted back to the default theme, deleted all media in my WordPress media library and also searched all other existing threads relating to my problem, bit the issue isn’t resolved.

    I haven’t edited this website for a while, but when I edit the information on the product pages within the WP Catalogue and save changes, the images no longer display (including thumbnails) I’m scared to touch the other ones now! I’ve tried re-uploading several times, but to no avail.

    Please help me with this as I have always liked WP Catalogue and I don’t want to have to switch to another.

    Couple more questions:

    + What happens if you switch to the default theme and deactivate other plugins for testing? Does the issue persist?

    + What web host are you with please?
    + Is it Linux or Windows based hosting?

    + Have you modified your ModSecurity file at all?

    Hi, thanks for getting back to me.

    I have deactivated all other plugins and reverted back to the default theme, but the issue persists, images not displaying.

    I’m hosting the website with ‘Hostgator’, whether that’s Linux or Windows, i’m not sure. I checked their website, but it wasn’t clear as it says it uses both.

    And I can confirm that I haven’t modified the ModSecurity file.

    Thanks for checking those points Barry. I’m going to investigate further and see if I can replicate… we have a few users over on Pro version reporting something similar but you’re the first on free version reporting this…
