Images not displaying in Media Library

  • I have just updated WordPress to the latest version and since doing this any new JPG or PNG files that I upload are not displayed in Media Library, I have tried the following:

    • Regenerate Thumbnails
    • Saving the files in different formats
    • Switching off ALL plugins and trying the above again.
    • Have already increased the RAM settings within PHP.ini to the max.

      • If I copy the URL link to the image and load it in another tab it loads fine and displays OK, but no thumbnail, and also if loaded as a link to the website it does not display as well, although the caption is displayed, but not the image.

      Anyone can provide a pointer for me would be much appreciated as cannot do anything now.

  • I have the same issue, whenever I want to load an image to the library I get this message of error:

    “Post-processing of the image failed likely because the server is busy or does not have enough resources. Uploading a smaller image may help. Suggested maximum size is 2500 pixels.”

    But if I open the library in a new tab the images have been loaded to the library.
