images not displaying on iPad 4 (3rd gen) IOS6

Thank you for this plugin – it works great, except that the iPad only displays the image placeholder (the little square) not the image. The link on the image works, and the placeholder boxes scroll. The iPad emulator at browserstack.com shows the images displaying on their emulator but on my iPad they do not display. All the other images on the site display correctly. The images were saved out using PhotoShop Save for Web and Devices. Any ideas?
