    Hello.
Can’t import images, even if my prestashop website is up and running (www.legacydistribution.it).
Any ideas? I would like to buy premium version but first i’d like to be sure it can make the trick!

To import the images, the URL field must be set with the URL of the live PrestaShop site. And the PrestaShop site must be up and running during the migration.
The images should be imported, even with the free version.
Which exact error message did you get?

    no error just:

    Importing CMS categories…
    3 categories imported
    Importing CMS articles…
    13 articles imported
    5 tags imported
    Importing product categories…
    324 product categories imported
    Importing products…
    4025 products imported
    0 medias imported
    IMPORT COMPLETED
    === END import 2018-11-14 13:23:01 ===

0 medias? We got something like 15k images…

What is the URL of your PrestaShop site? And what did you put in the URL field?

Could you please post the reason of not importing images? I’m trying in production server and they are not imported. Thanks

well the issues were actually 2 types:
    1) write your “original website” url exactly as it is published, including https or http one.
    2) we had to make some changes to .htaccess, based on our server configuration: we did add at begin of file the following lines:

SetEnv PHPRC YOUR DOMAIN BASE URL/php.ini
    LimitRequestBody 999999999999
    SubstituteMaxLineLength 20M

You can try this way, but each hosting provider could need a different conf.
TBH this plugin is good with small databases, but with big ones, is not that easy to use.

Thank you very much. We have only 251 products with 1 or 2 photos each.

Were do we add the lines? exporting server or importing one?
