Images not importing – post_excerpt error

Images weren’t importing. Turning on
WP_DEBUGrevealed:WordPress database error: [Column 'post_excerpt' cannot be null]went into
blogger-importer.php:557and replaced the
NULLvalue with an empty string''value in$newcontent = $this->import_image(...Hope this helps anyone stuck on this as well.
