Images not in Polaroid-style?

When I upload images in a gallery, they don’t appear as Polaroids, but just as the images I uploaded. How to change it into the Polaroid-views?
One single image on a page appears good, in the Polaroid-frame.

This drives me crazy, can’t find the option how to get it right…
