    Hi,

It’s not lazy loading but the base64 encoding what’s causing this. If you inspect the source code of an image you will notice a long src string that contains “base64”. When I install your thema Blocksy (and activate Lazy Load Images) all event images look fine, so I’m almost certain you have a performance plugin that causes this. Maybe you can turn it off there. Currently I don’t know how to support this base64 encoding.

Ah, okay. You are correct: it is the smush plugin that is causing the issue as it uses the base64 encoding, so I have disabled lazy loading for the pages where events are present.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Have installed the Smush plugin and will look into this further. Maybe I can fix this. Meanwhile excluding your events page is best option indeed.

    Hi @beezwings ( and @niwin ),

If you update to version 14.0 the issue with lazy loading of event images should be fixed.
