• Hi Guys,
Another noob here so please take it easy on me :P.

Ive just put together our first WordPress site (moving from Joomla) and am loving the flexibility of the WP platform. I am by no means a web developer but enjoy dabbling……..

Ill try and keep this brief but provide as much info as possible!

I built the site initially on my local workstation (using turnkey linux WP Appliance / Vmware Fusion on my macbook) and then migrated the VM to our ESXi servers ??

Ive updated WP to 3.3.1, updated the appliance (built on ubuntu server), given the server proxy access and after reading through posts on here I was successfully able to give WP proxy access and also resolve the WP HTTP Error: Could not open handle for fopen()

I am running a theme called “itheme2” which I am sure some of you will be familiar with.

We are a school who sit behind an externally hosted proxy service, Internally my images work fine however externally only some of them appear to load correctly, now Ive managed to add images to posts since which show up.

Initially I thought it was the proxy causing an issue (it has done in the past) however since adding an image this evening Im wondering whether its a limitation of the theme I am using which has a featured post module or perhaps the images are in the wrong place?

You can see what I mean by looking at my unfinished work here

If anybody could take a peek and give me any advice it would be much appreciated ??

    Thanks

    Sai
