Images not loading for logged-out users, 403 error

  • I had to disable the plugin because, for logged-out users, some images were being blocked from loading. It’s not consistent as to which images won’t load, & it doesn’t happen all the time, making it difficult to debug.

    Is there a setting I can change that will prevent this error?

    Please accept my apologies for your inconvenience.

    Can you please ensure you have not enabled prevent image hotlinking in the Admin dashboard > WP Security > Firewall > Prevent Hotlinks?

    Can you please ensure that the image name doesn’t contain a special character?

    I’ll give that a try. Why do non-ASCII characters cause the plugin to choke? And do you mean the filename, or the title, caption, description, or alt meta?
