Images not loading for products

I am running the latest version of WP Marketplace and I have noticed that when I try to add images to a product there is an error in how the image tag source is generated and added to the page.

I am doing this on a local dummy site. Here is a sample image tag.

Sooo it looks like the timthumb.php script is not processing and loading the file. Might be a config problem on my server, but I am not sure what that would be. So I just get a broken image from the image tag.

Any ideas?
