Images not loading in a widget

  • Hi there,

    I’ve been having issues with SiteOrigin’s Post Carousel widget and Zakra – on my main page it doesn’t display the images in the carousel. In the main page editor, if I click Preview in the widget itself, all looks good. On the page preview and the saved page – no images.

    In addition, on the side bar of the blog page the same carousel displays correctly. (see /blog)

    I tested other themes and it works well with them so I believe the issue is related to Zakra. I’m hoping you can help.

    While checking on my setup with the latest version of the Zakra theme, the image displays well on the frontend. For your confirmation please check the screenshot here: https://prnt.sc/XcYgiKZtVKYq

    Can you please decativate the third-party plugins and check if it fixes the issue or not!

    Thank you for the response.

    Disabling Jetpack fixed the issue, however I needed to turn it back on as I have no alternative at this point. I got in touch with their support but got, I assume, an AI response referring me back to a theme-related issue.

    So I’m kind of stuck here and I’d appreciate any suggestions you might have. And I’m totally lost as to why it works in the side bar and not as part of a page. (Sorry, I had to remove the widget from the main page until we get this resolved.)
