Images not loading in the image gallery

Hi, I’m having issues in my image library; the images are greyed out. I have tried changing files permissions to 755 in the CPanel, deactivating plugins, switching the theme to twenty twenty, and technically all the options suggested on the forums but nothing has worked. I’ve also tried using plugins such as Regenerate Thumbnails but it did not work. Whenever I upload an image on a post, the image loads in the library but it’s greyed out, and is not uploaded on the post. Any suggestions?
