Images not posting with Facebook Event

Hello, the Facebook images associated with new events are not being automatically placed as the featured image of the facebook event posts/pages. I can see that the images are in the media bin but are just not being set as the featured image. Deleting all FB events and then unlinking the FB page worked the one time, but I don’t want to have to do this every day. Right now I’m having to go into each new event and set the featured image manually.
