    Hi – Sometime between Sep. 29 and Oct. 5, images in my galleries no longer appear on the live website. I saw some related posts about this in support and thought it was being worked on and hoped for a solution by today. The plugin and WP version are up to date. I have the images as “basic slideshows” view, I have attempted to change the view in an effort to see if a different view would work, but can’t find how to do that.
    Thanks, Jill

    Let’s check if is cache related @yukoner and @jillsdablog

    – Clear or deactivate any plugin cache you have installed (I know you have done that before, but It’s part of the troubleshooting steps).
    – Go to Gallery > Other options > Miscellaneous > and click on “Clear image cache”.
    – Go to Gallery > Other options > Reset options > and use the option “Reset non ecommerce settings”.
    – Go to Gallery > Other options > Lightbox Effects > On “What effect would you like to use?” select again “NextGen Pro Lightbox”.
    Reinsert your gallery again and save.

    Note: these steps will reset NextGen Gallery to the default options.

    As always, we recommend performing a full website backup before any big major change on your site.

    If the problem persists, we might need to check for plugin or theme conflicts.

    Gaby –
    Thanks. This worked on all but one Gallery (August 31, 2018) which will ONLY show as thumbnails. I have deleted and created a new Gallery, but continue have the same results. Any suggestions? https://pasadenaquarterbacks.org/photo-gallery/aug-sep-2018-photo-gallery/
    Thanks, Jill

    @jillsdablog – First, just a quick note that the first link you provided seems to go to a 404 page (https://pasadenaquarterbacks.org/photo-gallery/sep-2018-photo-gallery/) If I drop the last part of that URL, and just go to /photo-gallery/ I can see your galleries. If I click those, they are loading fine.

    I also just pulled up your latest link (https://pasadenaquarterbacks.org/photo-gallery/aug-sep-2018-photo-gallery/). That one seems to be loading correctly for me now.

    Can you confirm? And did you do anything specific to resolve that?

    @yukoner – If you are still having your issue, can you please post a link to the relevant page so we can see it? You may also want to try troubleshooting steps outlined by Gaby.

    Thanks, edanzer. I had already tried the steps Gaby suggested.

    Here’s a link to one of the relevant pages. I’ve set all the others to thumbnails.

    Hey – I think you’ve got a theme conflict, where some theme css is effectively hiding the image. Can you try adding the following custom CSS to your site:

    .ngg-slideshow .ngg-gallery-slideshow-image img {
    display: inline !important;
    }

    You can add this by going to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS. You can also add it by going to Gallery > Other Options > Styles (click Show Customization options to see a NGG custom stylesheet).

    Thanks again edanzer. I used the “Gallery” option.

    This allows the images to show but the slideshow is not working. I have to click the arrows to get to the next image.

    @yukoner – Yes, we updated the slidshow and it does not include autoplay by default. This was a concern from some other users, so we already have a release in beta (hopefully for release tomorrow) that will add an autoplay option to the slideshow. It should be in 3.0.10. If you turn that on after release, it’ll play automatically.

    For now, users would have to navigate using arrows.

    Tomorrow’s release will be adding about half a dozen options to the slideshow, including autoplay.

    Let us know if you have other questions or concerns.

    Excellent. Thanks for the help. I’m impressed.

    @yukoner – I’m in the process of ensuring we solve this css conflict that you had in our next release as well. Now that I’m implementing and testing, I’d like to update the CSS I told you to add to the following:

    .ngg-slideshow .ngg-gallery-slideshow-image img {
    display: inline-block !important;
    }

    Both seem to work. But this last one is consistent with the original styling, so it’ll be safe and better tested.

    @edanzer
    Thanks. I’ve made that change now.

    @edanzer I used the information (at least in part since I don’t have a paid version) that Gaby/Imagely gave me. If you read my second post, this did resolve the issue, except for one Gallery, the one at the very bottom of the page titled August 31, 2018 on https://pasadenaquarterbacks.org/photo-gallery/aug-sep-2018-photo-gallery/. I can present it as thumbnails, but not a basic slide show. I have deleted the gallery and recreated it, reloading all the images, but this did not solve the problem.
    Thanks for your help,
    Jill

    @edanzer
    Interestingly, the images are showing on the page that I sent you, only with manual slide as we noted before. However, it doesn’t work on any other pages, or on posts.
