• This is a dev page but has the same problem, the first image on the slider loads fine but the second and third do not load unless I click on them, the text however does load.

The image sizes are roughly the same so it isn’t they they’re too big. I have the same regardless of what order the images are in, the second and third never load.

    Any ideas?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi. I can see the img src code showing like that: data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
    instead of Image url.
I found this solution that may work:

Also try deactivate the “cache” or “css optimization” plugin If you have Installed.

Thanks for the help, it looks like that person had a similar problem to me but I don’t understand how to disable the Image Cropping feature from General Settings, I’ve tried googling but to no avail! Any ideas where i find this?

There are very few plugins installed (recently updated the whole site and got rid of a lot that were unnecessary) so don’t have those installed.

Also the arrows are not evenly spaced on the images so I have hidden them, the dots end up well below the images so I’ve hidden them but the gap between the carousel and the rest of the content is huge. I can’t find anything about this online.

@elisafielding : I was noticing the huge gap beneath the carousel on my page as well. To solve the issue, I went to the page editor and changed it to “Default Mode”. I noticed that the shortcode for the plugin slides had a large amount of breaks between them, which I removed.

My carousel no longer has a large space at the bottom between the next page content.

Hope that helps you as well.
