Images Not Showing On Iphone/mobile device

  • Hi,

    I cant see the images on my site using my iphone, and I’m going to assume other phones. The only thing I see are black outlines of the images.

    I’m also trying to figure out why the content wont center better…

    Any help would be gravely appreciated!

  • Your images do not work at all on my or I assume anyone elses computers.

    A quick inspect shows that all your images and links are pointing to:

    https://localhost:8888/.../...

    Unless I were to have your images on my localhost, and only if I were even running it on port 8888 – your images aren’t going to work.

    My guess is that you need to set the new URL in the General Settings tab of the Administration console where it says “WordPress Address” and “Site Address”.

    If you have hardcoded these images/links – then use relative paths or change them to your new domain.

    Let me know how this goes.

    I don’t see your images on any machine – looks like you have “localhost” in the file path…

    You also have a bunch of mark-up errors:

    Many are due to invalid comment syntax.

    GenericBox, Thank you. That was it. I totally forgot to change over the img from my local site.

    Wpyogi, I’ll have to fix those. Appreciate it.

    Looking at the site on an iphone, it’s a little off center (skewed to the left). tried setting relevant html to margin: 0 auto; nothing changed.

    There’s also a very faint outline around my header when viewing on iphone… Tried fixing but still cant find the problem…

    For some reason my links to my projects aren’t working. checked the links and they look good. Eventually, I’ll be putting my wordpress at high-spirits.us instead of /beta, so maybe I can fix this then…

    Hi,
    content images are not working on advanced mobile device through wp mobile detector plugin.
    I also changed Cache folder permission to 775 and 777 which is located in wp-content/plugin/wp-mobile-detector/cache/ but its not working.
    can anybody Help me to get out of this?
