• I am not sure why the images are not loading. When I inspected the page I found that the file path to the images isn’t correct. Instead of the name of the file, it is some random number. I am not sure where this number is coming from or if I can change it.

When editing the gallery, I can upload the files just fine and they show up in the manage items tab, but when I switch to the gallery preview, I see get the same error and the image not found placeholder is shown.

Is this a bug in the plugin or am I doing something wrong?

    Hi

The thumbs are generated on the fly, and the number in the filename is correct.
But there seems to be a plugin on your site that is conflicting with the URL and inserting “remote/i1-wp-com/” for some reason.

What other plugins do you have installed?

    hey Rob,

Jetpack has a module called Photon. Can you disable that and see if it works?

    Thread Starter robbwols

    (@robbwols)

    Thanks for the recommendation @bradvin

I wasn’t able to find a way to disable that specific module (I was probably overlooking something) so I decided I would temporarily deactivate the whole plugin to check. Even with the whole plugin deactivated I was still having this issue.

I will go through and systematically deactivate and check to see if there is any change.

Little bit of an update. Some of the plugins I will not deactivate because I am not sure how that will effect my site.

I have gone through and disabled the following and checked to see if that resolved the issue:

    WP-Optimize
    W3 Total Cache
    UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore
    Search Meter

    Any ideas?

same issue, but worked for me for a long time. on the frontpage the images do not appear, but in the backend everything looks fine.

So now I deactivated my theme ans switchted to a standard one and it works.

Using avada (3.8.1, old version). try to switch another theme.

For me it was eventuelly an error by the order jquery is loaded.

in the foogallery settings I activated the custom ready event.
    /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=foogallery&page=foogallery-settings#advanced
